Competitive Cheer Page
Competitive teams are full year teams who attend 6-10 events during the season, including town, drivable overnights, and fly-away destination competitions. These teams compete for bids to championship competitions like The One, U.S. Finals, the Summit, and/or Worlds. These teams require the most skill and commitment. These athletes must prioritize their team above other extracurricular activities; exhibit an excellent work ethic and a strong desire to improve in all aspects of cheerleading. These teams usually practice 4-6 hours per week and includes Jon William’s tumbling in their tuition. Athletes and families must be prepared to attend all competitions, which take place over the weekends and fulfill a 10-12 month commitment for All-Star Cheerleading. A typical season for a team is May through April (except half season teams).
